Mailchimp Contact Upload

The latest version of SmartPublisher lets you connect your Mailchimp account and upload your contacts—in just a few quick steps—for easy sync of your mail campaigns. Upload as many times as you like without removing existing contacts or making duplicate contacts in Mailchimp. Unsubscribes from Mailchimp will be managed separately, so your SmartPub contacts remain intact.

With Apple’s recent release of macOS Catalina and Windows Server 2008 is reaching “end of life” early next year, you may be thinking of updating your SmartPublisher server or user workstations. We recommend you give us a call or send an email to first check that your versions of SmartPublisher, FileMaker Server and FileMaker Pro are compatible. A SmartPublisher upgrade may be necessary—and may be no cost to you if you’re covered by a support contract!

Statement E-Tear Sheets

SmartPublisher now offers the ability to attach PDF tear sheets to emailed statements—in addition to emailed invoices. Just as with invoices, a PDF of the issue is uploaded and, upon emailing statements, the customer will receive a PDF of the statement and the e-tears for their included insertions.

Send your statements in batches, selecting all customers to be emailed at once, just those with tear sheets, or only those without tear sheets.

Coming Soon: Mailchimp Contact Integration

Are you a Mailchimp user who wants to do even more with the contacts you’re storing in SmartPublisher? You’ll soon be able to send your SmartPublisher contact lists to a selected MailChimp audience.

Recurring Billing

Save time by processing multiple recurring credit card payments at one time. A simple search isolates all your recurring billing accounts in a list, where you can process credit card transactions for either a specific amount or for the open balance.

Sales Goals

SmartPublisher’s Goals feature provides a powerful tool for sales managers and salespeople to track progress in reaching a set dollar amount for a time period. A sales rep’s current goals are viewed and graphed on the dashboard of the main menu. Goal management is done using the Goals portal on the sales manager’s main menu, where the goals are created, edited and graphed. Additionally, assigning a product to a rate is a great way to track revenue and sales goals based on different types of sales activity. Products are associated with rates, and are available to assist with creating and managing sales goals, as well as searching for insertions and sales.

Interactive Dashboards

Sales Rep and Sales Manager dashboards are more useful and interactive than ever. On the Sales Rep dashboard, tasks are broken down by to-do totals, which click through to lists of tasks. Accounts are broken down based on activity to more easily gauge expiring or inactive accounts in need of attention. A sales comparison portal shows totals by date sold or issue compared to the last period or last year. The Sales Manager dashboard features interactive lists for tasks and sales, including goals and comparisons by issue and time period. Save time and effort by utilizing these tools right at your fingertips!
